This new shaper cutter is for making 2.5mm zig-zag grooves for along-the-grain joinery. This joint is common for preparing board slabs for tabletops, furniture, and cutting boards.
The additional 35% of gluing surface secures the fiber bonds along two pieces of wood. With a 2.5mm spacer or spindle height adjustment, the opposite glue joint can easily produce smooth and finish-quality cuts.
Bore size: 40mm, available bushings to 1-1/4" or 30mm bore.
